Lukashenka To Cooperate With One Of The World's Poorest Countries

Nicaragua is mainly an agricultural country, one of the poorest in the Western Hemisphere.

Lukashenka congratulated the Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega and the citizens of this country on their national holiday - Independence Day on behalf of Belarusian people and on his own behalf. The website naviny.by reported this citing the presidential press-service.

“I hope for further strengthening of cooperation between our countries based on the principles of friendship and mutual respect, and for the complete implementation of the existing potential in trade and economic and humanitarian spheres,” – the congratulation reads.

Nicaragua is mainly an agricultural country, one of the poorest in the Western Hemisphere (in Central America only Honduras and Haiti are poorer than it).
