“MP” said to the city authorities that she didn’t want the opposition candidates to stand near her pickets.

The current member of the “house of representatives” from Baranavichy Volha Palityka, participating in the “elections”, “privatized” Stockerau Boulevard in the city.

She said to the city authorities that she didn’t want the opposition candidates to stand near her pickets. And the authorities met her requirements.

The candidate from the United Civil Party Mikalai Charnavus Jr. told the HRC “Viasna”:

– I filed an application for holding a picket on Stockerau Boulevard. I received the answer, that some candidate stated his/her unwillingness to hold pickets together with other candidates. Later we learned that it was Volha Palityka.

Mikalai Charnavus requests to investigate the situation and to give a legal and ethical evaluation of the behaviour of the candidate Volha Palityka. So that in the future it was possible to hold pickets on one of the most popular places in the city.
