In order to visit a patient in Pinsk hospital, it is necessary to buy a pair of non-reusable boot covers for Br 5 thousand, in pre-denominated banknotes.

The machine for selling boot covers was installed in June, and since then one could visit a sick relative only for money, as they do not let people in without the boot covers, BelSAT TV-channel reports.

The price for two little plastic boot covers is Br 5 thousand, meaning pre-denominated money. Herein, the machine only accepts old banknotes, while the people do not have many of them left after the denomination. Quick-witted Pinskers have found the way out – they go to the hospital canteen, buy plastic bags for Br 500 and put them on their boots.
