No wonder why some current "deputies" have expressed their desire to compete again for a seat in the Parliament.

Some income declarations of some parliamentary candidates are made public. As well as some declarations of current "deputies" who decided to compete again for a seat in the "parliament".

"Belarusian News" learned how much money "deputies" received last year, and compared their earnings with an average salary in the country in other areas.

In 2015 the annual income of a member of the Communist Party of Belarus, acting "deputy" of Chkalauski electoral precinct Natallia Klimovich amounted to over 304 million of non-denominated rubles. She earned more than 25 million of non-denominated rubles a month. According to the official average exchange rate, her monthly income was nearly $1.600.

Acting "deputy" of Shabanouski electoral precinct Aksana Nyakhaichyk declared the annual income of more than 305 million of non-denominated rubles. Her average salary equaled to more than Br25 million of $1600.

The annual income of a member of the Standing Committee on Budget and Finance Valery Baradzenya who is registered as a candidate for "deputies" in the Vasnetsouski electoral precinct amounted to almost 340 million of non-denominated rubles. His average salary was more than 28 million of non-denominated rubles that is more than $1700.

Chairman of the "House" Uladzimir Andreichanka, who will compete for the "chair" in the new "parliament" (running on Dokshytsy electoral precinct), declared an annual income of over 410 million of non-denominated rubles. His average monthly salary last year exceeded Br34 million or $2100.

Such high salaries are mostly on a scale beyond ordinary Belarusian's dreams. Last year, the nominal average monthly salary in Belarus amounted to 6.7 million of non-denominated rubles, or 420 dollars.

Thus, if we assume that last year the average salary of a "deputy" amounted to 25 million of non-denominated rubles, it was 2.1 times higher than in the financial sector, 3.3 times higher than in construction sphere, 3.6 times higher than in the industry, and 4.6 times more than in the health care and social sphere, and 5.1 times more than in the education.

It is noteworthy that according to the law "On State Service in the Republic of Belarus", "deputies" of the "parliament" receive a monthly cash payment equaled to the wage of a minister.

No wonder why some current "deputies" have expressed their desire to compete again for a seat in the Parliament.
