In Homel Dictator Met With Slogan “For Belarus Without Lukashenka”

In Homel a UCP activist detained in a T-shirt with the slogan “For Belarus Without Lukashenka.”

On June 17, around 11.30, in Victory Street in Homel the unknown in civilian clothes arrested activist of the United Civil Party Uladzimir Niapomniashchykh, who was wearing a T-shirt with the inscription “For Belarus Without Lukashenka.”

It is worth noting that the activist wears this t-shirt daily.

Around the same time Aliaksandr Lukashenka was in the Homel railway station. Today he is in Homel on a working visit. Most likely, the UCP activist’s detention has something to do with the dictator's visit.

Uladzimir Niapomniashchykh was taken to the Department of Internal Affairs of Zhaleznadarozhny district of Homel, BelaPAN was told by deputy chairman of the United Civil Party Vasil Paliakou. According to him, no legal proceedings are being conducted; the detainee is still in police custody.
