As many as 26 local sole traders will be tried in Krupki, a town in Minsk region, on May 11.

Official grounds – for non-observance of working hours. If said in other words, the sole traders will be tried for closing their trading places as soon as mass inspections had started.

There are only two versions of the incident that happened a month ago. According to the authorities the inspectors appeared at the market place after they had received a lot of claims from customers, who were indignant at the fact that the traders didn’t have relevant certificates for their items, Belsat informs.

And according to the sole traders, common people are, on the contrary, grateful to the businessmen for the provided opportunity to buy cheaper goods of a higher quality instead the goods that are offered by the state stores. That’s why they are being inspected. And the trading places were closed because of the uncertail situation with Decree № 222.

The sole trader’s leader Anatol Shumchanka called this situation “wild” and said that “the sole traders don’t trust the authorities any more”.
