Lukashenka Proposes to Hold "Elections With No Modesty"

The ruler told about the "Belarus' tradition to hold an election".

On May 24 Lukashenka held a meeting on preparation works and delivery of upcoming election to the "House of Representatives."

"The Belarusian electoral legislation complies to international principles and takes into account the prevailing rules in Belarus". We take it for granted and keep silence sometimes. But there must be no modesty here. It subject to discussion," BelTA quotes Lukashenka.

Thus, the dictator's failed to take into consideration that international experts do not recognize elections "democratic" and offer Lidziya Yarmoshyna to take amendments to the Electoral Code. However, she says that "everything is ok" with it, and there is no time to do it.
