Kirkorov About Belarusian Customs Officers: Staggering Impudence

  • 24.03.2016, 7:56

Russian pop singer Philipp Kirkorov was forced to postpone the dates of its performances in Lithuania due to the actions of the Belarusian customs officers.

The singer has rescheduled his concert that was to take place on March 23 in Vilnius, because Belarusian customs officers detained the trucks with equipment and decorations at the Lithuanian border.

Philipp Kirkorov headed to this country immediately after his performance in Minsk on March 22. Multiton trucks with decorations and equipment have been standing idle on the border with Lithuania since yesterday, waiting for a thorough inspection.

"Show "I" was taken at the highest level in Minsk — even the President of the country Aliaksandr Lukashenka handed over a magnificent bouquet for me and Franco Dragone, the show director. And after this stunning success at the ten-thousandth "Minsk-arena", where no free space left, we faced with such staggering impudence," – the pop star wrote on his official Vkontakte page.

He hopes that Lukashenka will not ignore the incident and that those responsible will be brought to justice. As a result of delays at the border, the concert in Vilnius will be held on March24, and performance in Klaipeda will take place on March 25.
