450 Parrots Arrested On Border With Ukraine

Belarusian border guards confiscated nearly 450 parrots from residents of Baranavichy near the border with Ukraine.

BelTA learned that in the press center of the State Border Committee.

“Mozyr border guards stopped an Opel car driven by 38-year-old resident of Baranavichy on the road in the border zone Hlushkevichy – Milashevichy. There were over 440 finch, wavy and other parrots in the car,” – the border agency informed.

The driver had no covering documents. The guards believe these birds were taken to Belarus illegally. The check over the fact has been started
