Elderly people couldn’t receive their pensions in the cash department – there was not enough money.

A long queue formed at one of the departments of a big bank in Homel on Thursday afternoon. Elderly people came to receive the pension charged today, but there was not enough money for all of them, the cash department was empty. Outraged pensioners called the editor’s office of the kp.by and described the situation.

— Reinforcements are coming, we are expecting collectors with bags of money soon - the bank’s representatives responded to the call of the journalists. — We have prepared for this day and pre-ordered the cash, but the flow of customers was unexpectedly high, pensioners came from other districts. There are a lot of coins in the cash department, but the people do not want them, so we are waiting for the bank notes.

According to the pensioners, this is not the first time such situation occurs on the pensions payment day in this bank.
