Andrei Salangin, the head of Minsk "Torpedo" was deported from Belarus.

According to the official team’s website, on 2 December, Andrei Salangin, a Russian citizen, was summoned to the Department of Citizenship and Migration of the Pervamaiski district police department, where he received the decision on his forced expulsion for a period of 5 years.

According to oral information provided by Andrei Salangin, who got in contact only on the train, he had not been explained the reasons for such a decision and provided with the documents to confirm it.

During the last match with the FC Star-BSU, which took place on November 5, the police detained the director of Minsk "Torpedo" at the stadium following his request to explain the reason for prohibiting club merchandise at the stadium. Representatives of the BFF and a club security guard witnessed the conflict.

As a result, an administrative report for not fulfilling legitimate demands of law enforcement officials was drawn up against Andrei Salangin.

However, at the moment the offense has not yet entered into force since it has been appealed.

FC "Torpedo" (Minsk) will appeal the decision in higher courts.
