The governor signed a decree to postpone the liquidation of collective farms.

Previously, it was determined that the collective farms would be transformed into business associations, publicly held companies and unitary enterprises until 31 December of this year. However, people rebelled in many places, strenuously objecting to vote for such a decision. As a result, Lukashenka had to extend the time for "persuasion".

The new "deadline" is May 31, 2017.
