According to the composer, there not enough Houses of Culture to admit such quantity of the Russian performers.

An irruption of Russian singers can be observed in Belarus today, composer and People's Artiste of Belarus Vasil Rainchyk thinks.

“We don’t have as many Houses of Culture as the number of these singers coming to our country. The Belarusian performers remain unprotected from this invasion. The Russians are invading Belarus today the same way Mongol-Tatars conducted their raids in the past,” – the Belarusian Partisan quotes Vasil Rainchyk.

The composer confessed he cannot listen to the songs of the Russian performers due to the “odour of vulgarity”. “I can listen to the American, English or European music for hours. As for the Russian songs — I can endure one or two, no more, as they make me feel uneasy,” — Rainchyk has said.
