Poroshenko: Ukraine Expects $7 Bln from IMF

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said Ukraine expects to receive $7 billion from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) this year.

The president's press service tweeted it late Thursday.

"Ukraine expects $7 billion from the IMF this year," the Ukrainian presidential administration wrote on its Twitter page referring to the president's statement during his interview with CNN.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukrainian president also stated that Ukraine was expecting to receive a new tranche from the IMF in February.
