The head of the United Civil Party (UCP) reveals the truth about “independent opinion polls” in Belarus.

Anatol Liabedzka wrote it on Facebook.

“As for sociology... I talked to a famous respected sociologist. I asked him straightly on what conditions he was allowed to return [to Belarus] and continue his work.

The answer was: 'I can't publish the information relating to personal approval ratings at my own discretion. I can't have contacts with certain people, including you!'

Let's stop saying that you understand we don't have elections and at the same time regard the current process as real elections! This is hypocrisy,” Anatol Liabedzka wrote.
