Dollar hits a fresh all-time high

Dollar rose to Br15497, euro - Br16988.

According to the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange, foreign currency continued a rapid growth. The Belarusian ruble depreciated even against the Russian one, Nasha Niva reports.

The dollar increased by Br151 and now traded at Br15497. This is an all-time peak.

The euro rose to 16 988 (growth by Br124).

The Russian ruble now traded at Br246.21.

Depreciation of the Belarusian ruble is connected with a collapse of the Russian currency that yesterday achieved its anti-record.

The day before the world oil prices continued falling. On Monday, for the first time since 15 January the price for Brent oil fell below the psychological mark of $50 per barrel because of exacerbated fears regarding an overabundance of raw material in the market.

In July OPEC oil production reached a maximum monthly level for the last few years. The volume may increase, if Iran fulfills its oil production plan and increase it to 500 thousand barrels after the sanctions are lifted.
