Klimkin and Lavrov discussed situation in Donbas

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin held a telephone conversation with the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov regarding the situation in the Donbas.

As reported by Censor.NET, this is stated by the Russian Foreign Ministry press service.

"They discussed certain issues regarding settlement of the Ukrainian crisis, as well as progress in fulfilling the Package of Measures for the Implementation of the Minsk Agreements of Feb. 12, 2015 both in the context of preparation of the constitutional reform and arrangement of local elections, and ensuring cease-fire and security along the line of contact," the message reads.

As reported, the ministers also discussed humanitarian situation in the region. The Russian side once again insisted on necessity of Kyiv's dialogue with terrorists from "DPR" and "LPR".
