Belarus takes the lead in the price increase in the Customs Union

For the third month the Belarusians outrun the Russians and the Kazaks in rise in prices.

In June consumer goods and services in our country grew by 0.7%, in Russia-by 0.2%. Last month Kazakhstan had a deflation of 0.1% against May, tut.by reports.

This April the Belarusians have seized the leadership of the Russians in inflation and maintain it. Russia took the leading position in price growth for five months - from November 2014 up to this March.

Belsat data shows prices for potatoes (+22%), fruits (+6.3%) and tea (+2.6%) increased in June. Since the beginning of this year fruits (+47.9%), potatoes (+44.9), and vegetable oil (+25%) took the leading position in the price increase.

Since the beginning of the year the Russians take the lead in price growth - +16%. For example: in Belarus the number increased by 15.4%, in Kazakhstan - 5.2%. A mid-year audit shows that the Russians take the lead in inflation, because of increased prices on food, alcohol, cigarettes, clothes and shoes, and healthcare services.

The Belarusians outrun the Eurozone as well. The inflation there fixed at 0.2% in June.
