The website of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus has been hacked. The site now shows silhouettes of armed people against the background of the flag of Kurdistan.

Lawyer Yury Chavusau writes about it on Facebook.

“Visit the site of the Central Election Commission and you won't be disappointed. It seems to have been hacked by the Kurds. The music is funny,” he wrote.

The CEC site was attacked last night. Music starts playing as the main page is loaded, and the message appears “Hacked by Muhmad Emad. Long live Peshmerga [Kurdish forces]”.

Hackers of Islamic State hacked the website of the embassy of Turkmenistan in Belarus last month.
