Amkodor company is going to open an assembly plant in Pakistan.

Journalists learnt it from Aliaksandr Shakutsin (Alexander Shakutin), the chairman of the Board of Directors of Amkodor, BelTA reports.

The pro-Lukashenka oligarch thinks Pakistan is a good sales market for highway engineering, agricultural and utility vehicles. “I mean not only sales, but also opening an assembly plant in Pakistan. We already have a good partner who supports this idea and is ready to participate in the project. We are discussing the assembling of special-purpose vehicles,” he said.

Another Lukashenka's crony, oligarch Yury Chyzh ( Yuri Chizh) proposed to produce Belarusian tractors in Pakistan some years ago. He planned to set up a plant in Sindh province, but the plans were not implemented in practice.
