Belarus to buy another 4 Yak-130 aircrafts from Russia

Belarus plans to buy 4 more Russian trainers and light attack aircrafts Yak-130.

It has been said by the commander of the Air Force and Air Defence of Belarus, Major General Aleh Dvihalyou (Oleg Dvigalev), BelTA reports.

“We have already evaluated the prospects and will continue buying more aircraft of the kind. Four Yak-130s have been delivered, we will get another four. We plan to continue implementing this program after 2020,” he said.

The Air Force and Air Defence Chief remarked that in time the Russian aircraft Yak-130 will replace the Czech aircraft L-39, which lifecycle will run out in 2020.
