Flags of Russia appeared in Minsk streets on April Fool’s Day

Flags of Russia were placed on posts along Independence Avenue near Victory Square and Yakub Kolas Square.

The symbols of the neighbouring state have evidently appeared on the eve of the official holiday – the “day of unity of the peoples of Belarus and Russia,” however dwellers of the city have paid attention to the fact that it has been done today, on April 1, when All Fools’ Day is observed in many countries of te world, including Belarus.
