Dinamo Minsk lose third game to Jokerit

Tension builds on as Dinamo Minsk have lost their third game to Jokerit Helsinki (1-2) in the KHL's Gagarin Cup quarterfinal.

The Finnish team now leads the series 3-1.

Lukas Krajicek scored the only goal for the Bisons.

Juhamatti Aaltonen and Niklas Hagman sealed the victory for the Jokers, bringing their team to just one step from the semifinal.

The teams next meet in Helsinki on 5 March. If Dinamo wins, they will have another game in the Belarusian capital on 7 March.

The first two games of the Gagarin Cup quarterfinal series were played in the Finnish capital. The Bisons celebrated their 3-2OT win in the opener. The Jokers took revenge with a 4-1 victory a day later and extended their lead with a 5-0 win at Minsk Arena on 2 March.

In the previous six seasons Dinamo Minsk reached the Gagarin Cup playoff two times, with both times eliminated in the first round. In the 2010/11 season the Bisons lost the series 3-4 to Lokomotiv Yaroslavl. In the 2011/2012 season Dinamo Minsk did not take a single victory in the series against Dynamo Moscow (0-4).
