President of Latvia: If Lukashenka arrives in Riga, I to meet with him

The President of Latvia Andris Bērziņš expresses his wish to meet with the Belarusian dictator in Riga.

Andris Bērziņš stated that he was ready to hold an official meeting with Aliaksandr Lukashenka, in case he was ready to appear at the summit of the Eastern Partnership in Riga in late May.

Earlier, Andrey Pildegovich, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia, said that Latvia, taking the Presidency in the EU that year, was ready to invite Lukashenka to the summit, rus.delfi.lv reports.
