Activist Dzianis Ivashyn from Hrodna has been ordered to visit the KGB.

On February 25, activist Dzianis Ivashyn received a telephone call from a KGB officer, who introduced himself as major Pavel Slavut. He said Ivashyn should visit the KGB office to discuss details and aims of his foreign trips, Viasna human rights centre reports.

DzianisIvashyn thinks the interest is provoked by his visits to Ukraine. He also spent a month at the Maidan protests in Kyiv last year.

Dzianis Ivashyn told the KGB major he would meet with him if the KGB sent an official summons.
