New tax trap for Belarusians

Siarhei Nalivaika, the Minister on Taxes and Duties, told on OHT on new measures to combat shadow income, Euroradio reports.

Backdoor salary is planned to become unprofitable for an employer. Lukashenka's Decree has already been prepared.

Now a natural person claiming he receives a backdoor salary pays income tax and penalties. The draft Decree will release them from these payments. An unconscientious employer will carry the burden of financial obligations.

The Minister stated that income and citizens' property declaration was the most effective way to combat shadow incomes. According to him, the comparison of income and expenditures is largely stimulates the release of the way out of the shadow.

Preclusive term is planned to become an additional measure to combat shadow incomes. Earlier, after comparing incomes and expenditures it was possible to deliver documents for an unlimited time and it delayed examination. Now this term will be limited.
