During Visit To Listapad Fanny Ardant Asked For Meeting With Alexievich

This year Fanny Ardant is a special guest of Listapad film festival in Minsk.

The famous French actress was touched by the warm welcome in Minsk. When she came on the stage, the whole audience gave her a standing ovation.

The actress has brought to Minsk her second work as a film director, Cadences obstinées.

As Nasha Niva has learnt, Fanny Ardant asked the French Embassy in Minsk to organise for her a meeting with Svetlana Alexievich. She met with the writer at her place, and asked Alexievich to include the story of Ardant’s love in one of her new books.

Svetlana Alexievich has become the Nobel Prize Winner in Literature in 2015.
