Taking into account the next year's "zeros shedding", Belarusian ruble will be revaluated in 100 million times.

Aliaksandr Lukashenka has signed a decree on "Conducting the official currency revaluation in the Republic of Belarus" on November 4. This is the third revaluation in Belarus -- the first was held in 1994, the second -- in 2000, "Belarusian Partisan" reports.

Thus, from 1991 to 2016 Belarus has totally revaluated the national currency in 100 million times. This is an absolute record among the countries of the former Soviet Union. Georgia takes the second place, as in 1995 it redemoninated the national currency in a million times at one stroke. Ukraine takes the third position, replacing karbovanetses by hryvnias in the ratio of 1 to 100,000 in 1996.
