MVD to Seek ‘Terrorists’ on the Internet

In connection with the attacks in Paris not only so-called ‘K’ Department, but other intelligence services will be involved in Internet monitoring.

The Interior Minister of Belarus Ihar Shunevich promised to reinforce the struggle against "threats on the Internet” in connection with terrorist attacks in France.

Today Ihar Shunevich has informed journalists, BelTA correspondent reports.

Not only ‘K’ Department, but also other services with micro branches of the corresponding profile are involved in Internet monitoring. "They are focused on the identification of potential and actual hazards to our security, first of all, on the Internet," Ihar Shunevich says. The Minister stressed that not the whole Belarusian police took a combat alert, but only certain units. "And today we certainly check vigilance of our staff by forces other services, which are designed to it," he said.
