On November 11, Ukraine intends to stop importing electricity from Russia due to launching the third unit of Rivne nuclear power plant, which is now being repaired.

Ukrainian Energy Minister Volodymyr Demchyshyn said it at a briefing on Monday.

"Today, we import 400 MW, the amount is different every day. This issue will be closed until Wednesday. On Wednesday, we will most likely stop receiving electricity from the Russian Federation," he said.

The minister said that the third unit of Rivne NPP with the 100MW capacity is scheduled to be launched on November 11.
