Yarmoshyna: I consider Myself Russian Person

The chairman of the Central Elections Commission, who had been banned from the EU countries, explained why she never speaks Belarusian.

Lidziya Yarmoshyna answered questions of BelaPAN audience.

One of them asked why she had never talked Belarusian.

- I consider myself a Russian person. I was brought up in a Russian family, in a Russian language environment of the military servicemen, and then got education in the Russian Federation. I thing in Russian, that is why I speak this language. However, citizens have never had problems in understanding what I say to them,” – she said.
