Dollar exchange rate firmed at Br14 910

On January 23 dollar exchange rate rose by Br20 or 0.1 per cent and fixed at Br14910.

Russian ruble increased by Br8 and now traded at Br235.5.

Euro decreased by Br330 and made Br16920.

Monthly devaluation of Belarusian ruble made up 40%. However, despite the apparent rate stabilization, there has been no free access to currency so far. There are people standing next to banks for someone to sell currency to a bank.
