Poroshenko cuts short visit to Davos

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has confirmed that he cuts short his visit to Davos and returned to Kyiv on Wednesday due to worsening of the conflict in eastern Ukraine.

"Unfortunately, today I'm coming back due to escalation of the situation," Poroshenko told reporters in Davos on Wednesday.

Poroshenko was participating in the economic forum in Davos.
