Ukraine terminates electricity exports to Belarus

The export is terminated for an indefinite period.

The Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine adopted measures to balance the country's energy and prevent outage to consumers. The press service of the Ministry told charter97.org about it.

"In order to maintain a balanced regime between consumed and generated electric power in the NPP of Ukraine and avoid outages, the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry temporarily terminates electricity exports to Belarus and Moldova", the statement says.
