30 students detained near Frunzenskaya metro station

The police disrupted the display of a film about Banksy in the centre of Minsk on the evening of September 18.

Participants of the “Movie in the underpass” project planned yesterday to watch a documentary about street artist Banksy in the pedestrian underpass near the BSU journalism faculty building. The police detained the participants at around 20:40. About 30 persons were taken to the Maskouski district police department.

Most people were set free. Anastasia Daliushka, one of the organisers, and unidentified guy were left at the police department.

On September 12, 25 people near the Gorky Park in Minsk were detained for watching a movie.
