The court decision was taken on August 7, charter97.org learnt from the press service of the organising committee to create the Belarusian Christian Democracy part.

Librarian Sviatlana Hrytsenka was dismissed on June 4. The employer must pay her 8.4 million rubles for enforced absence and 1 million rubles of moral compensation.

Sviatlana Hrytsenka has worked as a librarian since September 1991. The library has never had complaints about her. However, problems appeared after the BCD activist took part in the “local election”. Sviatlana Hrytsenka was dismissed, though she was the chair of the primary organisation of the trade union of librarians of the Babruisk district. Her dismissal was not agreed on with the regional trade union.
