  • 6.08.2014, 17:46

In the wake of the recent events Ukrainians are sure to picture their future connected with the Western world.

As a reporter of UNIAN informs, Polish President Bronisław Komorowski has said that today to journalists in Krakow.

“Undoubtedly, one can be sure of one thing: these tragic developments of Russian-Ukrainian relations: loss of Crimea, the war against Ukrainian separatists, backed by the Russian state, to my mind, for a long time, if not forever, are to urge Ukraine and Ukrainians to look for security, rationality and development in the framework of the Western world,” Poland’s President said.

As said by Komorowski, “it has already happened.” “Russia can possibly win a battle, but it has lost the war for the soul, hearts and thoughts of Ukraine,” Komorowski stressed.
