Lukashenka announced second wave of government machine’s reduction

The dictator believes that the government’s machine of the country could be reduced twofold once more time.

He has stated that today adopting personnel decisions, a BelTA reporter informs.

“In the near future we are to approach the issue of considerable reduction of public servants. It’s not because they are bad, but because we should step up performance discipline,” Lukashenka said.

He noted that due to another reduction of the state machine, payments of state employees are to be increased, as well as their status.

We remind that the previous reduction of state employees took place last year. Then, according to the state statistics, 25% of public servants lost their positions, however, all of them were placed in other jobs.
