The police continue to hinder access to medical care for the former political prisoner.

Mikalai has serious problems with teeth after many years in prison. Autukhovich needs to have a CBCT scan and a surgery to place dental implants. He also needs to have a full physical examination. Autukhovich cannot do it in Vaukavysk, where he lives, or the Hrodna region, because there are no CBCT scanners in local hospitals, a charter97.org correspondent reports.

Former political prisoner Mikalai Autukhovich was released on April 8 after after 5 years and 2 months in a prison in Hrodna. He was put on preventive supervision. He cannot leave Vaukavysk without permission from the police. Mikalai Autukhovich applied for permission to go to Minsk in April, be his request was declined.
