Council of Ministers offers Belarusians to live on 120 dollars per month

The living wage in Belarus will be increased up to Br1,343,420 on August 1.

It is said in ruling No. 723 issued by the Council of Ministers on July 24, 2014. The document was published on the National Legal Internet Portal.

The living wage is set at 1,505,230 rubles for working-age population, 1,143,760 rubles for pensioners, 1,097,000 for children under 3 years old, 1,647,110 for children from 3 to 6 years old, 1,458,230 rubles for children from 6 to 18 years old, 1,357,330 for students.

The living wage will remain in force from August 1 to October 31, 2014.
