72 companies owe wages to employees

Many Belarusian companies owe wages to their employees.

As of July 1, 2014, as many as 72 companies owe wages to a total number of 12,100 employees, charter97.org has learnt from the press service of the National Statistics Committee.

The amount of debt is 48 billion rubles, or 0.3% of the country's wage fund in May 2014.

The greatest number of new debtors (20) appeared in the Minsk region.

It's worth noting that 302 companies owed wages to 46,800 employees on June 1, 2014.
