Anarchists hold “solidarity raid” in Brest

Activists from Brest expressed their solidarity with Belarusian Dzmitry Rezanovich, who was detained in Russia.

Graffiti calling to release the activist appeared in Brest, revbel.org reports.

“In early hours of June 29, anarchists of Brest carried out a raid of solidarity with Dzmitry Rezanovich, who was detained in Russia. Several anarchist graffiti were drawn,” the activists say.

The Belarusians was charged with the illegal crossing of the Ukrainian-Russian border. He was to be tried on June 24, but the trial was postponed until July 3 for unknown reasons.

He may face a fine of up to 200,000 Russian rubles or a prison term of up to 2 years.
