Russian paratroopers, Tigrs, Alligators and Su-34 at parade in Minsk

The Ministry of Defence revealed details about the participation of Russian troops in the parade in Minsk on July 3.

Units of the airborne forces, crews of aviation, military and special equipment of the Armed Forces of Russia will take part in the parade on July 3 on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi troops.

“The armed forces of the Russian Federation will be represented by 170 soldiers of the Pskov air assault regiment,” Interfax learnt on Tuesday from the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defence.

The mechanised column will include S-400 Triumf missile systems, 8 Iskander mobile ballistic missile systems, 16 Tigr armored vehicles. Five Su-34 fighter-bombers, 5 Ka-52 Alligator attack helicopters of the Russian air forces will take part in the air parade.

“The equipment and personnel for the participation in the military parade arrived in Belarus in advance,” the Russian Defence Ministry noted.
