Fine of Br750,000 for poster “Death to Kremlin occupants”

A court delivered a verdict to the Minsk resident, who raised the poster “Death to Kremlin occupants” in the centre of Minsk.

On June 2, Minsk's Tsentralny district court heard the case of Volha Zhurauliova, who came to Kastrsychnitskaya Square with the poster “Death to Kremlin occupants” on May 29.

She and her small son were detained by the police, but set free later.

The hearing took place today. The case was returned to the Tsentralny district police department and then sent back to the court. The woman was fined five penalty units (750,000 Belarusian rubles).
