Ihar Alienievich had a short meeting with mother.

Of that Valancina Alienievich informed the charter97.org web-site.

“On 5 June we had a scheduled short meeting. It was all the same, although, in late May there had been a decree issued instructing to dismiss the colony within three months. Thus, Ihar will be taken to another penitentiary location, but it is yet unknown where. In any case, it will be better, because the ecology is terrible in the Navapolatsk colony”, - she pointed out.

Political prisoner’s mother added that son had earlier congratulated her on the 60th anniversary, which she celebrated yesterday.

“He asked, how I would celebrate the anniversary. I do not yet feel 60, the spirit is still young. I am of those women, who do not worry over the age. But 10 June is a karmic date for me, because three years ago, before my birthday, Ihar was sentenced to 8 years and sent to Navapolatsk on 10 June”, - Valancina Alienievich highlighted.

We would remind that on 27 May 2011 judge Zhana Khvajnitskaja of Minsk Zavadski district’s court sentenced Ihar Alienievich to 8 years in high security prison. He is now serving the term in the penal colony number 10 in Navapolatsk, which is notorious for its bad conditions. Together with Mikalaj Dziadok and Aliaksandr Frantskievich he was charged with organizing a procession near the Defense Ministry building, attack at the Shangri-La casino and jail in Akrescina Street, as well as setting on fire the doors of Belarusbank branch office.
