BelAZ to borrow $75 mln from EDB

The EDB is to lend $75 mln to BelAZ.

The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) has opened a credit line of $75 mln fro Belarusian joint stock company BelAZ.

The term of the loan is 3 years, the EDB press-service informs.

According to the agreement, the money is to be spent on buying materials and spare parts for production of dump trucks and other vehicles by BelAZ, the report reads.

Notably, for the period of implementation of the project about 40% of materials and spare parts for BelAZ are to be bought from Russian suppliers.
