Anti-terrorist operation stopped due to threat of Russia’s invasion

Ukrainian army has stopped implementing of the anti-terrorist operation in Slovyansk.

The reason for that was massing Russian troops along the Ukrainian border. It has been reported by Kyiv Post with a reference to their source in security ministries. According to Ukrainian intelligence service, the risk of Russian troops’ military incursion has grown considerably.

He confirmed that the death toll in the operation had mounted to 7 deaths. “Separatists are panicking,” he noted. The government is reviewing the plan of the anti-terrorist operation, taking in consideration the recent data of reconnaissance along the eastern border.

A few hours ago Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu stated that military drills had started because of the situation in south-eastern Ukraine.

We remind that the anti-terrorist operation is held today in Slovyansk, Donetsk region of Ukraine. THE National Guard and security forces are taking checkpoints at the outskirts of the town, built by aggressors. At least 5 terrorists were killed.
