Preventive supervision for Pavel Vinahradau can be extended for 2 years

Activist Pavel Vinahradau visited a police station for a check today. It was supposed to be the last day of the preventive supervision, but police officers told him the supervision term could be extended. The case will be heard by the Maskouski district court, Viasna human rights centre reports.

The supervision can be extended for two years.

Pavel Vinahradau is one of the first activists convicted for the 2010 post-election protests. He was granted the early release, but was placed under preventive supervision. He faced administrative sanctions for his activity.
