Bolts of firearms were given to the airborne troops commander.

According to the data of the Information Resistance Group, the statement that servicemen of the 25th Separate Dnipropetrovsk Airborne Brigade handed over their weapons to the extremists is false. Dmitry Tymchuk, the head of the Centre of Military and Political Research, wrote it on Facebook.

“According to the information we have, the paratroopers fulfilled the order and gave bolts of their firearms to the airborne troops commander. The airborne troops commander explained he personally guaranteed “the non-use of weapons against local residents, whom the armed extremists use as a human shield,” he said.

Oleksandr Turchynov said today at a parliamentary meeting the servicemen of the 25th Separate Dnipropetrovsk Airborne Brigade, who allegedly had given their weapons to the separatists in Kramatorsk, would stand trial.
