Exchange of gunfire started at airfield of Kramatorsk

Armed hostilities have started at airfield of Kramatorsk.

It has been stated by the press-service of the public association VK “Nastup” on April 15.

“Exchange of gunfire is taking place at airfield between law-enforcers and separatists,” the report reads.

As said by activists, on April 15 a military aircraft Su-27 or MIG-29 was flying over the airfield and neighboring regions at low altitude from 2:45 p.m. till 3:10 p.m., and after that shooting started at the gate of the military installation.

It was reported that the Ukrainian aircraft wanted to land on the airfield, but it was attacked by fire by the unknown. As a result, after half an hour the aircraft left in the direction of Donetsk. After that several ambulances and a car of emergency ministry arrived to the airfield. There are blasts and shots heard there, nbnews.com.ua writes.

We remind that on April 12 the head of the Interior Affairs Ministry Arsen Avakov informed that in Kramatorsk (Donetsk region) the unknown attacked by fire the building of the town police department. The law-enforcers returned the fire. Exchange of gunfire started. As a result separatists managed to seize the town police department.
